AAPA To Hold Media Briefing On Oct. 28 During 98th Annual Convention

The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) will hold a media briefing session on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 9:30-10:30 a.m., during its 98th Annual Convention and Exhibition at the Galveston Island Convention Center, in Galveston, Texas.  The briefing session will cover key seaport-related issues, including environment, security and infrastructure.  On hand to provide updates and answer questions will be AAPA's president, Kurt Nagle, together with the association's 2008-2009 chairman of the board, Geraldine Knatz, Ph.D. (executive director for the Port of Los Angeles), and its 2008-2009 chairman of the board-elect, Michael A. Leone (port director for the Massachusetts  Port Authority).

The media briefing is open to all reporters and editors who have registered for the event at the attached link.  Media registration is free and includes access to all open meetings, (Oct. 27-29).
