Join Fitch Ratings on December 4th at 1:00pm EST for a webinar focused on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and Availability-based projects. This is Fitch's second webinar in a series focused on Global Infrastructure and Project Finance.
Long used as a way to transfer rights and responsibilities to the private sector, PPP projects have an established presence in many countries such as Australia, Canada, Chile, Spain, France and the U.K., and a growing presence in the U.S.
Fitch has established a leadership position in evaluating and rating availability-based transactions. Saavan Gatfield and Scott Zuchorski, senior analysts on Fitch’s Global Infrastructure and Project Finance team, will lead a lively and insightful discussion on the key concepts central to this financing mechanism including; operations, maintenance and lifecycle costs as well as Fitch’s cross-sectoral approach when evaluating appropriation risk.
Saavan and Scott will discuss specific examples of recently completed PPP transactions including the Goethals Bridge replacement project and the I-69 Development Partners project.
