Public relations professionals often serve as spokespersons for their organizations. In that role, they must juggle multiple priorities in tight timelines, often without the benefit of an up-to-date strategic communications plan to guide their day-to-day activities and decision-making processes.
To assist communicators from all industries in developing goal-oriented, objectives-driven public relations plans, the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) and the Detroit Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-Detroit) have partnered to present the Public Relations Strategic Planning Seminar & Workshop, June 23-25, at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit, Mich. The event is being hosted by the Detroit/Wayne County Port Authority.
"This comprehensive public relations and marketing seminar will explore the full scope of developing a successful strategic communications plan-from conception to implementation to analysis of results," said Aaron Ellis, AAPA's communications director.
More information about AAPA/PRSA-Detroit Strategic Communications Planning Seminar and Workshop is available at / (click on the "Programs & Events" tab) or by calling AAPA at 703-684-5700.
