Public Relations Committee
AAPA's Public Relations Committee develops programs, strategies and activities which enhance and improve public appreciation of what ports do and increase public and stakeholder understanding of ports' contributions to the economy and to the quality of life.
Communications Awards Program
A category of the annual AAPA Lighthouse Awards Program, the Communications Awards have been issued since 1966 to recognize excellence in port communications. There are a total of 14 entry classifications, ranging from advertisements to video presentations, and magazines to social media sites.
