AAPA Applauds $250 M in Recovery Funding for California Ports

Highlights larger port industry need for economic recovery from the COVID pandemic

“Congratulations to the California Association of Port Authorities on the major victory of Governor Newsom’s recommendation to award $250 million in relief for their members, highlighting the state-wide need for economic recovery from this pandemic,” stated Christopher J. Connor, President and CEO of the American Association of Port Authorities.   “AAPA was delighted to be a critical partner in advancing the federal language in the American Recovery Plan, passed by the U.S. Congress, that ensured state and local agencies would be allocated such vital funds.”
