The Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) is the biennial legislation that authorizes the Civil Works program for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. WRDA often includes provisions to set policy for the Civil Works program as well as authorizations for new Civil Works projects. AAPA members are primarily interested in provisions that affect the deep-draft navigation mission of the Corps of Engineers.
