Case Study: An Analysis of Maritime Education and Practices to Engage Ports, Education, and Industry

This paper includes examples of educational initiatives from ports and organizations of various sizes found through project research. These examples provide ideas for ports to consider when working with education and industry partners with the goal of making it easier for ports to tell their stories and develop community interest in port-related careers. Key questions are explored such as who is responsible, resources, relationships, and data necessary to address the workforce needs of ports and related industries.
