A Comparative Analysis of Two Deep-Water Seaports in Florida

The Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT) and The Port of Miami (PortMiami) are two deep-water seaports in the state of Florida. But even though they both are economic engines in the same state, they are different in many ways. This research paper will examine, compare, and describe the differences and similarities between two of the largest Florida Seaports. Being a part of both executive teams and being fully engrained with operational and business decisions allows a unique perspective like no other. Experiences and pertinent information have been gathered firsthand. Any interviews for additional details and specifics will be conducted with Authority Executives and industry partners directly.
