2016 Security & IT Seminar
This seminar will focus on both security and information technology topics, including cybersecurity and mobile access to data. Security-focused sessions include an Intelligence Briefing by an FBI representative, the Port Security Grant Program and an Active Shooter Case Study on the Washington Navy Yard Incident.
The AAPA Security Committee focuses on protection of cargo and facilities from theft, pilferage and vandalism, including prudent business and operating practices, appropriate facility design security and personnel training and procedures and port security technologies and techniques.
