PORT OF LONG BEACH Pier T Container Terminal Development Project
The first megaterminal at the Port of Long Beach involved the development of a 380-acre tract at the former Long Beach Naval Complex at a total cost of $602 million. The scope of this almost decade long development makes it noteworthy as does the budgetary, environmental and tenant challenges involved in the project.
